This 2 BR/2 bath cabin is a beautiful, spacious, log-style cabin that sleeps 6 persons. It features an all-glass front which offers a wooded river view, and has an elevated front porch and staired entry. Huge white oak and maple trees surround the cabin giving it a very natural and serene forest setting.
A five person hot tub has recently been added to the Bear Cottage list of amenities. The tub is privately located on a large side deck, which may be accessed by either the kitchen or master bedroom doors, and also features a picnic table and nearby fire pit.
Ideal for two couples or a family, each bedroom has its own private bathroom/shower, and an inflatable mattress is supplied to accommodate two kids as well. Although it's a 2BR, the Bear Cottage is a favorite of individual couples who enjoy a romantic setting; the Jacuzzi for two is located inside the master bedroom. A beautiful rock fireplace (wood provided) gives this cottage a rustic, yet cozy atmosphere.
This
cabin is fully furnished with a full size refrigerator, microwave, range,
coffee pot, CD player, and central AC/heat. Towels and linens are included.
Bikes and canoes are no additional charge—canoes are only a short walking distance away.
