Note: Don't count on your smartphone for local directions. It won't hold a continuous signal during the trip as the area is mountainous. Be sure to PRINT MAP and bring along.
From Smithville, OK: at the junction of Hwy 259 and Hwy 4, go east 6.5 mi. to Watson, OK. Rivers Edge is 3.4 miles northeast of Watson.
From Arkansas: Watson is 8 miles west of Cove, AR, on Hwy 4.
At Watson turn north opposite the gas/grocery. You will go by the Watson Post Office (on your left as you leave Hwy 4), curve left at Sulphur Springs church, staying on the narrow paved road across a small bridge and up a steep hill, a total of 3/4 mile. At the dirt road intersection turn right or east, onto the dirt road.
After turning right onto the dirt road, go 0.7 mi. east, then turn left, and stay left for about 1.5 miles (3 different roads turn right ...stay left). When the road makes a "Y", take a right. We are about 1/2 mile further. You'll see the sign for the office on the left, just past the Homestead Cabin.
