How do I guarantee my reservation at Rivers Edge?
A valid credit/debit is card required to guarantee your reservation. You may pay your balance by other means upon your arrival.

Is there a minimum stay at Rivers Edge?
Yes, 2 nights minimum reservation; 3 nights minimum holiday weeks/weekends.

Are pets allowed at Rivers Edge?
Yes and No. We have recently modified our pet policy to allow pets to only a few of our cottages. The Streamside, Bear, Riverbend, and Homestead cabins are now pet friendly! A $25 fee will apply per night. Pets must be leashed outside of cabins.                *Please note we only accept dogs; 2 dogs maximum in a cottage.

Does Rivers Edge have Sunday check-ins?
No Sunday check ins, NO exceptions. You may stay through Sundays; you simply may not check in on Sunday. Our staff is guaranteed Sundays off! 

Does Rivers Edge charge a cancellation fee?
Yes, there is $25 fee on all cancellations. There is a 21 day cancellation notice required for full refund of deposit, minus the $25 fee. Cancellations MUST BE CONFIRMED; voicemail messages/phone recordings not accepted for cancellations. Cancellations made within one week of check in will be charged 100%. If cancelled within 3 weeks of your stay, you will forfeit the first night’s rate plus tax, unless we are able to get the dates booked by another party.

Is it possible to rent a bicycle and/or canoe during my stay at Rivers Edge?
Bikes are provided free with your stay; they’re kept near the office in storage. Canoes are provided free as well; one will be waiting at the river bank for whenever you’re in the mood for a leisure float or an hour or two of fishing.

Do you have wireless available at your cabins?
We have wireless internet at a few of our cabins. The Homestead, Pine Summitt, Whispering Heights, Windsong, Mtn. Chalet, and Mtn. Escape now have internet available.

Do you have TV's?
We do not. This is a decision we made from the beginning. We hope you will not see this as a negative, but as an opportunity to enjoy each other and have fun playing games or doing other fun things.

What if it looks like rain all weekend and we want to move our booking?
If you are more than three weeks out, no problem. If you are within 21 days then you stand to lose your deposit if we can't get your cabin booked again for the same number of nights. We can't guarantee the weather. We can and did, however, provide fireplaces, inside jacuzzis, hot tubs, luxury showers, games, and covered porches--just in case.

What if winter weather prohibits safe driving?
We will never pressure you to drive on unsafe roads. We will not cancel your booking simply on the threat of bad weather, but when conditions are truly risky. If roads are icy or slick, we will allow you to postpone your booking to another date.
